25% Off All Art Prints Use Discount Code ANNEEN ... Ends 10/23/2017 (Artist's Birthday) *****I recommend purchasing my artwork as prints on paper, canvas, metal or acrylic. Please note that I advise against buying MY ARTWORK as prints on WOOD. This option is not ideal for my paintings. The wood may change the colors of my art and therefore is not ideal and NOT recommended. The canvas is amazing quality, the paper prints are available in various fine art papers. All come highly recommended. THANK YOU! ****** Copyright Notice: Prints are available for the purpose of decor, wall display for home or business for collectors and end consumers. Framing places. was born in France, lived in France and Germany and now in the United States. My main work is original oil and watercolors.
I have studied the impressionists and post-impressionist. My own way of expressing leaning more toward Post impressionism, because it opened the door to a more expressive way of painting and greater freedom. Besides admiring and studying works by Nicolai Fechin, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh Gauguin, Degas, I also love the works of artist like Chagall and Toulouse- Lautrec. I love to include black paint, mixed from various hues and of course impressionism did not allow the use black. So at the end of the day my work has it's own energy influenced by what I have seen and read of these great artist.
My focus has always been to develop my own style. I study color theory and painting techniques but I mostly learned and still learn, by doing.
I enjoy the process of painting and my subject matter is always a reflection of who I am as a person. Basically I paint what I love.
